Perfume Bottles

My version of perfume bottles...I did not know that the glue I used for gluing the beads together would also stick to my fingers...that is what I get for never reading directions before I jump in.

Oh well, maybe one day I will read the directions....

Wooden Furniture Puzzle and Painted Sideboard

Here is a furniture puzzle that I got for $1.99, aren't  the cute?  It was on the clearance isle at Michaels.
I can't wait to see how these turn out!!

Also, I made a sideboard (well I think I'm going to use it as a sideboard) and painted it. I made it out of a small chest and a piece of cardboard for the shelf inside.
  and....it's not white!

Kithen Table and Chairs/Mini Halloween Cards

I got the chairs from Hobby Lobby and I made the table.  I used wood glue and hot glue..I'm really wanting to learn how to use real tools to make furniture.  I definitely need some lessons first. I even have a dremmel  tool and do not know how to use it. Oh well, maybe in the future.

I also made some Halloween Cards and Envelopes.
The pictures are blurry, I couldn't get a descent one, but you guys get the idea...I think they turned out Okay for my first try at mini cards and envelopes..they are just simple cards, maybe next time I make them fancier.

Painted Bedroom Furniture

I tried painting the furniture white and didn't like it, now I've painted the furniture apple green with white accents.

I'm not sure if I like the furniture, it's too big for the cottage.  I will keep it until I get more furniture, and it was fun making these, maybe I'll do a room box and use this furniture in it.

Everyone have a great week end!! - Kim :)

Cardboard Furniture

I thought since I haven't any bedroom furniture I would make some, until I decide on the furniture that I want.  Until then I've created a bed and a dresser out of cardboard....of course I will be sprucing these up a a bit.
I made this out of match boxes and cardboard and match sticks to cover up the ends.
I made this out of an upside down large match box, small dowels for the post and cardboard cut outs for the head and foot boards.
Here is a picture of them both.  The lighting is better in this picture.  Well, wish me luck in trying to make these two pieces look presentable.

Refurbishing Minis

Here are a few items I have been working on.

A coffee table I made out of a small chest top and cut glue sticks.

A small chest (Michael's) and a mirror that I'm trying to refurbish.

and a small table that I'm planning on refurbishing, wish me luck....I can also see the little touch ups that I need to finish inside the house.  Boy, the camera really shows the flaws!!
