ReplyDeleteAah -- I love a lizard in the garden! (last year we had a HUGE one behind the rain barrel, but the cat caught it and ate it :-(

everywhere amongst my garden. Aren't they just the most delightful things ever?

ReplyDeleteThat is a lizard with personality! Over the weekend I was out working in the garden, and dug up a 12-inch long plastic toy alligator from one of the vegetable beds. I don't have the slightest idea where it came from, or how long it's been there, and I've worked those beds for years! The neighbors' kids have all gotten a little too old for such things, so I don't think they are the culprits! I often find peanuts in unexpected places, in flower beds and containers, but those come from all the squirrels in the area.
